DISPATCH - Episode 1 & 2 - This Game is Amazing..
A2
[Music]
Welcome back, guys, and welcome to a
game that I think the majority of us
here have been really excited for.
Welcome to Dispatch. So, there was a
playable demo of this game a few months
back. Some of you probably played it. I
decided to skip on it just because I
wanted to wait for the full release.
This game also does have episodes, or it
is an episodic sort of series. Today, we
have episodes one and two. And
fortunately, the remaining episodes are
actually not going to be too far off,
just a matter of weeks, actually. On
October 29th, we've got episodes three
and four. And on November 5th, we've got
episodes five and six. And finishing it
off with November 12, we've got episodes
7 and 8. The game's got an incredible
cast, and from what I've seen, a really,
really fun and chaotic story, which is
something that I love to do around here.
And if this is a game that you like to
see us continue as these episodes
release, just let me know. Anyways, feel
free to sit back, relax, and let's do
this.
Obviously, I love him. He's my dad.
>> H
What does that H mean? Just say what you
want to say.
>> It's just when you add obviously, it
feels a little less obvious. So, I'll
ask again. How do you really feel about
your father? It's as if maybe it's a
little more complicated than you feel
comfortable admitting, which is
completely understandable.
>> Look, I love my dad. All right. I love
my dad. That's the truth.
>> Loved.
>> That's what I said.
>> You said love. Your dad's dead. So, you
don't love him. You loved him.
>> Just so sensitive. Listen, if I didn't
love him, we wouldn't be here, right?
>> We don't have to get into it.
>> Nope. We're in it now. Why would I be
trying to find the man who killed him if
I didn't love him? Why would I be doing
any of this?
[ __ ] my nose is bleeding. Thought I was
getting emotionally snotty.
>> No, it's probably from when I kicked you
in the face.
>> Yeah, thanks for reminding me. So,
here's what's going to happen.
>> I'm the hell hang you off the side of
this building and you're going to tell
me where Shroud is or I'm going to drop
you to your death.
>> Come on. I thought we were having a
breakthrough.
>> Hey, we did. You know, for being a real
piece of [ __ ] you're pretty easy to
talk to. But the only breakthrough I
need right now is the location of
Shroud.
>> I'm not telling you [ __ ] you [ __ ]
loser.
>> See, this is more like how I thought
this would be.
>> I hope Shroud kills you just like he
killed your father. I hope he [ __ ]
spanks your little daddy as you [ __ ]
ass to death. You hear me?
>> Are we outside?
>> Windy up here tonight, huh?
>> Why are we outside?
>> No telling where you live. Smells like
outside smells.
>> Wait, wait, wait, wait.
>> I have neighbors. Use your inside voice
and just tell me where Shroud is.
>> Okay. Okay. Uh uh. Steel Steel Mill.
Llewellen. Uh Llewellyn Steel Works.
Okay. [ __ ]
>> You sure about that?
>> Yes, please. That's all I know.
>> Stop screaming. God damn it. Help.
>> Hey. Hey. Hey. I will pull you up if you
quiet the [ __ ] down.
>> Help.
pull him back up.
>> Honestly, it was nice talking to someone
about this stuff. I guess what I'm
saying is I'm really glad I kidnapped
you tonight.
>> Yo, that was intense, dude.
Oh my goodness.
[Music]
Yes, dude. Yes.
Yes. This is incredible.
[Music]
Yes,
that shroud who apparently killed our
father. I'm getting such like telltale
vibes. Like just the whole fact of being
back in an episodic sort of game. This
is this is the [ __ ] I live for, bro.
Oh, I can't wait, man.
[Music]
And it's it's so cinematically
beautiful.
[Music]
[Music]
>> Wow.
This is dope.
Oh my god.
By the way, you can choose to do this
interactive or just cinematic. I chose
interactive to be able to interact with
the cut scenes and stuff like that.
[Music]
Oh my god. Oh [ __ ] He's here.
[Music]
a busted.
That's unfortunate.
So, do we know what year this takes
place?
And I don't think I've actually looked
that up. Anyways, uh I think we got to
just follow
>> to finish this.
>> Oh, okay. Here we go. So, input code to
activate node.
>> And this was
>> That was easy.
I wonder what happens if you get it
wrong, you know.
Nice. What do we got here?
>> All right, next one.
>> Okay, so we got to collect that data.
Gotcha.
Uh, so how do we uh
H do we get to choose?
I see.
Going to grab this. Oh [ __ ]
Just one more.
There's got to be consequences for
getting [ __ ] wrong, is there not?
Okay, hold on. So now we'll come back
here. Yep.
Interesting.
Getting Spider-Man vibes.
>> All right, got it.
Guide the avatar downwards. Okay,
[Music]
Bro, it's crazy. You can tell when a
game is well done, like [ __ ] And the
game's only like four gigs, which is
amazing.
Well, episodes one and two, of course.
[Music]
prepare to die.
>> Hey, um, can I get a copy of that video
when we're through here?
Cuz I'm about to [ __ ] you up and those
videos do numbers. Maybe we can go
viral.
>> Maybe we can go viral.
All this buildup face to face with your
father's killer and you come in here
with that lame [ __ ]
>> Where the [ __ ] is Shroud?
>> He'll be here in a bit. Oh, hey. After
our conversation, I asked him about your
dad. Fun little tidbit. He was very well
hydrated. Turns out right after Shroud
shot him in the chest, your dad pissed
his pants. Bet you didn't know that,
huh? So after that bullet tore through
his insides, he still had enough time to
know how absolutely [ __ ] he was and
just pissed himself like a little [ __ ]
It was like so much piss cuz your dad
was wearing shorts.
>> I get it.
That's amazing.
No,
that'll do it this time.
>> Look at his legs.
>> Can we just skip to the part where you
reveal your [ __ ] superpowers for
real
>> treatment?
>> Look at his leg.
>> Whoa.
Oh. Oh, okay. Acid boy. Why is his
>> cool dick? So, you uh got some kind of
clever super villain name.
>> You can call me toxic,
>> bro. That works on so many levels for
you.
>> Yeah, no [ __ ] That's the point.
>> Oh my goodness. What the [ __ ]
Childments are pretty good when normies
like you use them, but when you put them
on someone who already has powers,
[ __ ] chef's kiss.
>> So that black sensor bar, that's not me.
That's that's the game. Okay, just so
you know,
>> you could choose to not censor it, but
you might as well. You might see a
schlong there. I don't know. If that's
what you're into, then go for it.
>> Oh, boy. Got thrusted.
I'm getting like a Iron Man vibes. Oh
[ __ ] Oh,
>> I got to focus. Things are getting a
little intense, a little heated here.
>> Figures.
>> Whoa, that's cool. Oh [ __ ] Mr. Schlong
is back.
piece of [ __ ]
It's
>> pretty strong.
>> Wow.
>> What the hell is this?
[Music]
>> This is so [ __ ] crazy, man.
Oh. Oh, he dead.
>> He's not dead.
Maybe now he's dead. Yep.
He's got to be dead.
Why does that guy remind me of Jiren?
Like just the face.
Okay, maybe he's better than what we
were initially thought.
>> Oh no, he's going to eat through the
freaking
>> No.
Oh, I think we're done. I think we're
done, boys.
Oh, what?
Oh, we got a shield barrier. Let's go.
Is that Shroud? Oh,
is this guy still naked like that?
I guess he can't put any clothes and
just melt right away.
>> So, what do you got left on them
shields? I said 40%, but boss man says
you're down to 28. And he is not wrong
about his thing.
Good news, buddy. Trout says he just
wants the Astral Pulse, which we all
know isn't really yours anyway.
>> I think we're cooked.
There is
>> system check. Calculate the damage per
second hitting shields. Then tell me how
many seconds I need to divert Astral
Pulse energy to rocket boosters.
>> 12.89 seconds of damage before critical.
>> Oh, hey. Boss man says if you're
planning on diverting puss, sorry, pulse
power to the boosters, it won't work.
This is a limited time offer, dude.
What's up? You were so [ __ ] talkative
earlier.
>> [ __ ]
>> Hey, Matt Blaster. I don't give a [ __ ]
Okay, I'm just the messenger here.
>> Says you're not calculating that [ __ ]
[ __ ] Do we do it? Do we do it?
>> [ __ ] it. I'm doing it.
>> I mean, it's
>> Hey, great. I'll go now. Get out of
there, babe.
>> Come on. Come on, dude.
I guess he was wrong.
Yeah. Who Who's under? Oh.
Oh, that looks sick. Oh my god. I love
this.
>> Yeah.
>> Status.
>> Call status stable.
Foreign device.
>> Dude, this is [ __ ] gnarly. What a
cool game.
What a cool game. My goodness.
Warning,
warning,
warning,
warning.
[Music]
There it is.
Dispatch,
this is going to be incredible.
That was really fun, dude.
It was just over four months ago that
images like this were recorded across
the Southland. Videos flooded social
media and our newsroom showing what many
thought to be the death of Mechaman.
Again
>> again.
>> For nearly 50 years, a Mechaman has
protected Los Angeles.
Built by an ordinary civilian with no
superpowers,
this first suit was dubbed by some fans
as Mecca Man Prime. Three generations of
pilot, their identities kept secret,
have given everything to protect this
community.
>> Maybe grandfather and father lives.
After the tragic passing of Prime, the
next Mecca Man known as Astral teamed up
with a star-studded superhero group
known as the Brave Brigade, leading to
an unprecedented period of peace in the
Southland. After years of loyal service,
tragedy struck again when Shroud, a
former Brave Brigade member turned
villain, killed the pilot of Mecca Man
in cold blood. But yet again, as hope
was lost, a third generation of Mecca
Manan emerged. a Mecca man for the
modern era, a bull work against
organized crime in the greater Los
Angeles area until today. Earlier today,
Mecca man broke his silence and
addressed the media.
There's been a lot of speculation about
my health and the state of the Mechaman
suit, and I'm here to put that
speculation to rest. The suit has been
damaged beyond my ability to repair, so
I will be stepping back from superhero
work. Effective immediately.
>> Does this mean you're finished?
>> Can you repair yourself
>> from Mechan?
>> Does this mean your career is over?
>> How badly were you hurt?
>> One at a time, please. Ashley Rees, San
Pedro Daily. Do you have anything to say
to your fans? The public outpouring, the
vigils, a lot of them were worried you
wouldn't wake up.
>> I suppose I want them to know I did my
best. I worked as long as I could, as
hard as I could, and that's all anyone
can do. Next question.
>> Chris Stratton, Torrance Trabune. Does
this mean you're retiring as Mecca Man?
Word on the street is you're dunzo.
>> Dunzo? Are you 100 years old? Why are
you talking like that?
>> Answer the question, buddy boy. Are you
retiring? My readers need the skinny,
and I aim to deliver. Let's get it on
the record.
>> Look, I'm not retiring. Not yet, at
least.
>> Any idea what you can do without the
Mechaman suit?
>> Not yet.
>> All right, just one more, please. I got
to get back to um just just one more.
Preferably someone from the century.
Charles Kingsley, South Bay Signal. So,
Shroud kills your father, goes to jail
15 years, breaks out, and immediately
dupes you into a trap where he destroys
the Mega Man suit and puts you in a coma
for months.
>> I didn't hear a question.
>> Twopart.
First, why didn't Shroud kill you? You
haven't been conscious for months. It'd
be easy money taking you out.
>> Okay. Shroud wanted the Astrop pulse and
Mechaman gone. He got both. I'm not sure
I mattered much.
>> Right. You're unimportant. Which leads
me to my next question. Most heroes
avenge their family. You did the
opposite. You killed their legacy. How
disappointed would your dad be if he
were here right now? Oh,
>> what a dick.
>> Your father, your grandfather.
>> They must be rolling over in their
graves.
I think he'd be proud cuz I'm alive,
which as you so sensitively pointed out,
he isn't.
I think he knows that I sacrificed
everything and that I did my best. Being
mechaning my community was the greatest
honor I'll ever have. Now I have to live
knowing that.
>> That was a good That was a good answer.
Up next is Mecca Man a Mecca quitter.
>> Mecca quitter.
>> Yeah. I mean it seemed like he'd be
better if he died than be a mecha
coward. You know what kind of example is
he setting? Stay tuned to find out.
Oh boy.
>> Hey, [ __ ]
>> Yeah, all you [ __ ] Pretty
disrespectful for you to be doing that
in front of me.
>> Hey, who are you calling [ __ ]
[ __ ]
>> I'll handle this idiot.
We're out of here in 30. And who the
[ __ ] are you?
>> Yeah, you go. I'll go [ __ ] hobo
ranger. Who the [ __ ] are you
>> right now? I'm someone with nothing to
lose, which is probably bad news for
you.
>> Well, with nothing you have, you're
about to lose again.
>> Whatever the case, I'm going to have to
deal with a pack of [ __ ] Skittles
idiots like you.
>> God damn it. Look, you're hurt. You're
not thinking straight. You don't want to
fight someone who knows which hand every
punch is coming from.
>> No. Oh, damn. He told me. He told me I
should have punched with the left.
>> Oh, no.
>> Oh [ __ ] We got some backup.
>> What the
A
>> she's got real powers.
>> Oh, hello there.
>> That guy I threw, he landed on the roof,
right?
>> Blond Blazer.
>> Phew. Hi, I'm Blond Blazer. I work over
at Superhero Dispatch Network.
>> Hey, I Yeah, I know who you are. You're
like famous.
Oh, I don't know about that. I'm just a
corporate hero for hire. You're the real
deal. You're the famous one,
>> right? I don't think infamous is the
same as famous. But
>> Oh god, your arm.
>> [ __ ]
>> Oh yeah, that's gross. Yeah,
>> you look like some kind of mime DJ. Let
me see it. I'll help you.
usually dislocates the other way.
>> No offense, but I'd prefer a medical
professional to do.
Okay.
Oh, that's uh that's okay.
>> One of them is on that roof.
>> You look like you could use a drink.
>> What makes you say that?
[Music]
Man, this is amazing, dude. Like, what
the hell? Emerald Skittles color. I
didn't even man.
>> Yeah. Well, you know what? They can
taste the rainbow in jail.
>> What? What do you mean? Like different
colored dicks?
>> Whoa.
>> Slow down there, blonde blazer.
>> I actually didn't know what I meant, but
you know what? It should have been that.
>> I'm a little buzzed. I don't really make
jokes like that. I think Vissy's rubbing
off on me.
>> Who?
>> Uh, someone I work with. It's Yeah.
>> Oh, she's going down.
>> That feels like a challenge.
>> Oh, no.
>> It's fine. Don't worry about keeping up.
Something to do with the powers. It It
takes a lot for me to feel anything.
What a sad sentence.
>> Hey, you should give yourself more
credit to do what you did for as long as
you did, especially without superpowers.
>> Not true. What do you call this?
>> I can fix that one for you, too.
>> No thanks. I like this one.
>> Thank you,
>> bro. This is awesome.
>> So, how did you afford all that? You
must have spent hundreds of thousands of
>> millions. So, you'll understand when the
check comes.
>> You're serious?
>> Millions?
>> Yeah. I basically burned through my
entire inheritance keeping it going.
Last couple years have just been duct
tape and cheer termination.
>> Why did you do it?
>> Do what?
>> Sacrifice everything to be a superhero
to the point of financial
>> ruin. I was going to say hardship, but
ruin was the first word that came to
mind. Yeah,
>> you must be completely broke at this
point.
>> I don't know. I guess I just like
helping people.
>> So, are you drunk yet or what?
>> Uh,
yeah. Yeah, I should probably switching
to water. Good, cuz I was hoping after
some drinks to loosen you up, I could
learn a little more about you and uh if
all that went well,
>> present you with a proposition.
>> A proposition?
>> Is that what he thinks?
>> I'm just trying to figure out if this is
a fit or not, you know? Then it's just a
matter of picking the right moment.
>> Well, propositions late at night in a
bar can go any number of ways.
It's not that.
>> That's actually
not water.
>> God, this is like pure alcohol.
>> It's not like alcohol. It is alcohol. I
know because you spit it directly into
my open mouth. That's water. That See
how it has ice in it?
>> You drink hard liquor from a pint glass?
>> Actually, I usually just drink it
straight from the bottle, but I thought
that would be embarrassing.
>> Damn.
>> I'm going to go clean up. I'm so sorry.
>> No, it's fine. I will be right back.
>> What are you doing?
>> Hey, [ __ ]
>> Hey, I'm talking to you, [ __ ]
>> What the [ __ ]
>> All right, just so you know, I only
turned around cuz someone yelled, not
because I'm a [ __ ] or anything.
>> Don't you watch the news? This is a
superhero bar.
>> Oh, wow. Are you a superhero? That's so
cool. Is this your power? You're like,
tell people obvious [ __ ] guy.
>> Oh, you're really going to ugly you
don't remember me.
>> Wait, it's coming back to me. Hold on.
Yeah, it's coming back to me. Oh, wait,
wait. I Oh, I know it. You are
sunglasses indoors at night, guy. Your
superpower is that you're able to let
everyone know in the room that you're a
douchebag. cuz you should literally
never do that. Unless you're at the
final table of the World Series of
Poker, but even then if you win,
you're still a [ __ ] loser.
>> That is Damn.
>> You good?
>> Sorry, I choked on my spit.
>> No, like a [ __ ] I control the fire.
>> The fire and the flame. And my skin does
not burn. I am flambe and you
>> wait. Oh [ __ ] I do remember you. You're
that shitty villain I busted up.
>> Not anymore, Mecca dick as I literally
just said I am not a real superhero and
you are not Mecca man anymore.
>> So you need to get the [ __ ] out of here
now. We can do this the easy way.
[ __ ]
>> Sorry. Which way was that?
>> Hey,
>> no. Punchup. You're literally fanning
the flames right now.
>> [ __ ] Yeah, you're right. Anyone got a
rug?
>> You got to drop and roll, lad.
>> That doesn't burn.
>> Some people become scared before they
even know they're hurt.
Like babies.
Hey, Mecca dick. Get the [ __ ] out of
here.
>> I get it. Can you just tell Blazer I'm
outside?
>> Damn.
>> Relax. I'm leaving.
>> Hey, I couldn't find you.
>> Uh, it's cool. Well, I was just admiring
the art on this dumpster.
Can't tell why anyone would put those
words together. Why are you holding
drinks?
>> Night cap.
>> You're in trouble.
>> Actually, according to the bartender,
that's exactly what you are. What
happened in there? I walk out and the
bartender's pissed. The whole energy is
awkward. And why did it smell like burnt
hair?
I got a little fired up with a guy, but
he ran off before anything happened. So
>> Oh, you got fired up?
>> Yeah. Does that not sound convincing
enough?
>> Hold these. I know a place.
>> You ston.
>> It's a little out there. Easier if we
fly.
>> Damn.
[Music]
I wonder if they'll have some sort of ro
romance. I would kind of like that. I
feel like that'd be really nice. I don't
think they will.
Maybe she's just trying to recruit him
or something. That's what the whole
proposition is all about. But this is
nice.
This is [ __ ] cool, dude.
My god.
[Music]
Hollywood.
>> I actually thought you were taking us to
sit on it.
>> H Oh, yeah. That would have been cool.
Oh, no. Yeah, this this is better cuz
you can see it and it it looks like
there's a couple up there already. So,
>> uh, all this has been pretty
overwhelming. You know, I don't get out
often and I think I really needed this.
So, thank you for bringing me out. I had
a really great time.
>> Don't you worry about it, Robertson.
>> How do you know my name?
>> Oops.
What's going on?
>> Okay, I'll tell you, but only after you
tell me how you ended up with a name
like that.
>> Oh, you mean a name like Robert
Robertson III?
>> The third? Three times this happened.
>> There was Grandpa Bobby, then my dad,
who I called dad, but everyone else
called Robbie, and then me, Robert, cuz
I wanted to be taken seriously.
>> A family tradition
>> in more ways than one.
Gramps was the first Mecca man. He died
in the sue before I was born. Dad was
killed fighting Shroud. That's when I
took over. There was a little
inheritance and the life insurance
money.
>> I'm so sorry. I didn't realize.
>> Just your run-of-the-mill sad superhero
origin story. The family tradition, if
there is one, is dying in that suit,
which I guess I don't have to worry
about anymore.
What is it?
>> I'm not quite drunk enough to share my
origin story just yet, but
remind me to tell you someday.
>> Definitely.
>> Oh, okay.
>> It's not what Oh, she's going to take
off the mask.
We can work with this.
[Music]
Oh [ __ ] She's going to reject it.
>> Oh
>> no. This I'm I'm sorry if I gave the
wrong impression.
>> Oh no.
>> It's my fault.
>> I'm so sorry. I totally misread that.
You didn't. I mean, you did, but I I
>> Oh, jeez.
>> The way I went about things tonight. I'm
sorry. It was all a little loose. A
little unprofessional.
>> Unprofessional? I'm not sure that that
applies to this.
>> I'm actually here on official business.
>> How I know your name? The proposition I
mentioned right before you spit in my
mouth.
>> Still mortified about that.
>> It's fine.
Do you remember a superhero named
Trackstar?
>> Remember? Of course. He's like family
that I haven't talked to in a while.
What about him?
>> I work with him at SDN. He recommended
you. Mentioned that he worked with your
father.
>> Yeah, he was the youngest member of the
Brave Brigade, so he was kind of my
babysitter for a while. How's he doing?
>> He's doing great. He's He's why I'm
here. Robert, I would like to make you
an offer in exchange for dispatching and
mentoring some of our rookie heroes. SDN
can make you Mecca Man again, but this
time with all the resources that a
company as big as ours has at their
disposal. No more paying out of pocket
for repairs, support staff, the whole
shebang.
>> My suit was totally destroyed.
>> I saw the report, studied the footage.
It's not totally destroyed, just mostly.
It's a big investment. It'll take
considerable time and money to get the
suit repaired and the missing pieces
replaced. Plenty of time to learn how to
dispatch and level up some of the heroes
on our roster. Your experience, your
work ethic, your perspective, it's all
invaluable.
Share it, Robert. You have a lot left to
give. And what if I say no?
>> Then I'll hate you forever.
And they'll push you off this billboard.
>> Wow.
>> Yeah.
>> And no one will suspect a thing.
>> Nope. Not a one.
>> Wait. So you want me dispatching? What's
that even mean?
>> Oh, right. I was supposed to test you at
the bar here.
>> The drunk people shouldn't be throwing
things at drunk people.
>> Noted.
Am I waiting or are you waiting? What's
going on?
>> It was supposed to open up when I threw
it to you. Okay, there. Pop it on. This
is part of the assessment. And don't
move too much in there. You're sitting
on the edge of a billboard.
>> Greetings and welcome to this training
simulation. We may be superheroes, but
we're nothing without SDN's real hero,
the dispatcher. So, dispatcher, where do
we start? Well, well, it appears we've
got our first call from a subscriber.
>> Subscriber.
>> I saw some scary, suspicious men last
night leaving the old movie theater.
>> You'll receive requirements to help you
determine which heroes to send.
>> H. All right. So, strike the devil's
fortified base of operations and defend
yourself against armed foes.
Such an array of brave heroes to choose
from. How could you possibly pick just
one?
This graph will show you what a hero
does well and not so well.
>> Okay,
a hero with a knack for vigor and combat
looks right for the job.
>> Okay,
>> that sounds like me.
[Music]
>> Phen what is it? Phenomen
Phenom.
>> But what the hell, boy?
>> Now that at least one hero is being
dispatched, it's time to get to work.
>> Okay,
so what do we do? We just hit dispatch.
>> A sound approach.
>> Assault on criminal hideouts.
[Music]
I will now return to SDN. I'm going to
[ __ ] this up so badly
when it's like up to me. I'm I'm going
to screw it all up real good.
>> When a hero returns to SDN, they'll need
some much needed RNR. That stands for
rest and relaxation.
>> All right.
So, he's resting.
>> Don't forget to review your hero's
performance. They won't be sent out
again until you do.
>> Oh, okay. So, that's important.
>> On SDN's state-of-the-art graph, we can
see an analysis of what skills the call
required.
>> After the fact,
>> let's see how well I did after
responding to that caller's well call.
There's no such thing as a perfect fit.
Use your intellect and your roster to
your advantage.
The more that my skills align with the
needs of the job, the more likely I am
to succeed. Perfect.
So,
>> I don't know how often we'll be doing
this, but
>> organized criminals often led by
figurehead super villains are the
scourge of Southern California. We work
tirelessly to root them out.
>> I don't think it's going to be too bad,
actually.
All right, we got we got something here.
Investigate the dorm room.
>> We've got a potential villain hideout on
the college campus.
>> Sometimes the solution is brains, not
bron. That's what I was thinking. SDN's
diverse array of heroes can solve any
problem.
>> Okay, so she's got brains.
[Music]
Oh, she's got brains. The brain book.
Yeah,
>> I do things by the book.
>> Cool. So, we'll go ahead and uh
H. Oh, wow. So, if you do multiple
interesting,
let's just try one.
>> Knowledge is power.
>> See how that works out. It is an
investigate sort of call, if you will.
So, she should do just fine by herself.
If you multiply the uh the heroes, then
you get a much better chance, of course.
you amplify the attributes.
All right, so let's see.
That was actually not half bad. Pretty
good. 69%.
>> Effortless excellence.
>> Okay, so she's resting right now. We've
got another one right here.
>> The museum is doing an exhibit on local
superheroes and need a guest speaker.
So, somebody that can talk really good.
Maybe uh the sweet talker.
>> An excellent choice.
>> What the [ __ ]
If these streets could talk.
>> Okay, so
>> one of your heroes needs you.
>> Oh, disrupted.
>> As their leader, your heroes will look
to you, make choices, and follow where
they lead.
Okay, so the speech SDM prepared is
bring uh is boring the crowd. We're
going to have to improvise.
Uh incorporate fun facts, show off your
moves, sprinkle in some jokes, bruh.
[Music]
So
these choices need the right skill.
Remember each of your hero's strengths
and weaknesses.
>> Oh, okay. So,
so that was tasteful. Good. Because
sprinkle in jokes is a uh chatter sort
of attribute. Show off your moves would
have been more of an athletic sort of
Okay. I'm not I'm I'm not really sure I
know the proper terms for that, but a
>> convoy of Diablo's goons are harrying
the highway patrol.
>> As if traffic in this city was not bad
enough. Speaking of traffic and going
places, does SDN offer paid time off to
take vacations?
>> Of course. PTO acrews at a regular rate
over time. Use it however you like as
long as you discuss your schedule with
your manager well in advance.
>> What the [ __ ] is a PTO?
>> H I think I was supposed to use uh PMP
pom earlier, but
now it's telling me like I got to use
Brick House.
high-speed chase, right? But Pom Pom has
a much higher attribute when it comes to
speed. I'm just going to I I think it's
going to be Pom Pom, to be honest. What
if I do both of them? [ __ ] it.
Let me see. Let me actually try that.
>> I'll protect you.
>> Let's try that.
>> Okay. Okay. Okay.
And then we've got attack on the
hospital.
Oh [ __ ]
>> The diabolical super villain El Diablo
is attacking Los Angeles General.
>> Oh no, it's one of my arch nemesises. El
Diablo. That means the Diablo in
Spanish.
>> He must have been using the convoy
ambush as a distraction.
>> And to attack helpless hospital people.
That craven bastard. Speaking of
hospitals, did you know SDN offers a
robust benefits package for all
full-time employees?
>> That's phenomenal.
>> Equilibrium.
>> Everything in moderation.
>> Oh [ __ ]
Okay, these guys are done. Let's see how
that went.
94%. That's pretty [ __ ] solid,
>> folks. Call me justice.
>> Okay. Okay. And then here we got
>> SDN values work life balance.
>> All right. This is a lot going on right
now. I'm not even going to lie.
>> I need help getting to my doctor's
appointment.
>> Okay. So, the unfeebled woman
across the busy street make haste before
she misses a doctor's appointment.
So, what do we do here? We get somebody
fast,
somebody quick, right? Can we try Oh,
Pom Pom is busy and so is uh Brick
House. I'm just I'm just going to I
don't think this is a good choice.
>> Sometimes a hero can use their talents
to tip the scales. They are superheroes
after all.
>> All right, dispatch. Diablo's crew is
harassing the good folks at the
hospital. What do we do? Clear the path
through the goons.
I guess
>> rescuing civilians and taking down
villains. Just another Tuesday for me.
>> Okay, what do we got here? I don't know
about the kitty cat.
>> There's a giant monster attacking
downtown. Save us, SDN.
>> Draw the monster's attention to you.
Endure the beast's attack until it tires
itself out. So maybe somebody with good
uh maybe Brick House.
I think I think Phenomenal Man should do
okay. Onward, upward, forward.
>> And then her.
>> Shut it down.
>> Let's try that. That should be okay.
And then I'm going to do uh let's do PMP
pom for the old lady.
>> Clock this.
>> Let's see how that works out. And then
we've got here
>> El Diablo's goons are running scared.
We're right on the heels of his
sidekick, El Diablo.
>> El Diablo.
Okay. Pursue El Diablo's sidekick back
to his base. Survive the onslaught of
goons. Um, so maybe we can do this one.
Oh, we don't have the right people for
that right now.
Let's determine how we did here.
Not too shabby. 100%.
>> Perfect dispatch. You are a natural.
>> That was kind of overkill to be honest,
but
we did it. That was 74%. So, Pom Pom
probably was the right person, too.
>> SDN solves all problems, big and small.
We never ignore the people of the city,
particularly the elderly.
>> Speaking of retirement, quick question.
Phenomenan. Does SDN offer 401k
matching?
>> Yes, but there are limitations. Your HR
representative will have all the
details. Our shift is done now. It is
time for lunch.
>> We couldn't have done it without you,
dispatcher.
>> Too true.
>> I'm going to enhance my break time with
some of the snack offerings in our
breakroom vending machines.
>> Great idea. Thank you again, dispatcher.
I hope to be seeing a lot more of you.
Goodbye for now. And don't forget to be
phenomenal.
>> Did he just say phenomenal?
>> It felt pretty natural to me and that
it's natural for me to end up mid tier.
That said, for a first time, it feels
pretty
>> I like her character, man.
>> Did I drool on you?
>> Uh, I don't think so.
>> Well, you see why we thought of Well,
why Trackstar thought of you?
>> It makes sense. Yeah.
Meet me at the SDN offices tomorrow.
I'm not done saving you yet.
>> She's going to be a problem. She's
trouble.
Uh, is there a ladder or
Sorry I'm late.
[Music]
Let's give him some cereal.
[Music]
>> The folks at Est are the best in the
business and we're striving to create a
safer, stronger city every summer.
>> I met a nice lady.
>> The folks who live here.
>> She wants to help us out.
>> That's a cool shot, dude.
We respond to emergencies.
That was incredible.
[Music]
Wow. So, that was the first episode. Not
too long. Like 45 50 minutes or so.
So, there being 12 episodes in total, I
think it's it's kind of like the
equivalent of like six episodes on like
a Telltale game because those episodes
range like 2 three hours each. That was
amazing.
That was amazing. My goodness. Even 44%
of players threw alcohol at flam flambe.
Only 54% went for that. Man, what is
happening? You and 72% of players pulled
the goon back up. Your success rate in
the fight with toxic was 94% putting you
in the top 20th percentile.

two.
>> Dang it. I'm going to be late for band
practice.
>> Unexpected things happen every day.
>> Phenomen. Can SDN help me out with this?
It's blocking the driveway.
>> You can count on SDN to help lift the
burdens life throws at us. Let SDN be
your rock so you can rock.
[Music]
SDN is not
coverages to property, persons, or
animals.
>> She's definitely not making it to ban
practice.
>> Yeah. Well, yeah. Wait, what's that?
>> H. No, just the uh the commercial. It
was weird.
>> Weird. Yeah. Right.
Put mom into my man. He's He's like a
rock star.
It's uh I'm joking because of the rock
and the roll. Cool. Cool commercial. I'm
a forama fan. You might say you could
say that.
>> He seems cool. Phenomenal even and quite
the salesman.
>> Oh yeah. I mean he could sell snowballs
to an es.
>> Is it not not cool to say snowman? He he
could sell snowballs to a snow person.
Anyone made a snow. Any color snow.
Doesn't have to be white.
Oh god.
Okay.
>> Yep. That's not right. That is not
right. That is the That just Yeah.
>> Okay. Let me help you.
>> Oh, no. No. Not necessary. I'm sure I
>> uh So,
you nervous? Big job interview?
>> No. I mean, yes, but yes is more. My
powers make everything wet but moist.
>> Dude, that's got to
>> water boy is how they call me. But yes,
I am.
>> Oh my god.
Flambe.
>> Yeah, I am interviewing them.
>> Yeah, but if I'm honest, I'm nervous.
>> Oh, okay. Oh,
now that you your face is next a side of
my face, I see that I know you love you.
You're Mecca Man. I you you're dead. I
thought
>> just on the inside.
>> You uh look small or different in
person.
>> Never meet your heroes, kid.
>> Oh, wasn't sure you'd show up.
>> Oh, wow. Blazer on a real hero.
>> Sorry, but I I need him for something.
Follow me.
[Music]
I like how she has a backpack on.
>> Take your clothes off.
>> Uh, what's happening right now?
>> We don't want too many people knowing
you're Mecca man. A lot of our
dispatchers are former heroes, but it's
better if you keep your identity a
secret. We've had incidents in the past.
Here.
>> Oh my god. I remembered you being
bigger.
I was a little drunk. Listen, it's going
to be great.
>> I've never felt silly wearing this.
>> Until now.
>> Yeah, I was trying to imply that with
the silence.
>> It worked. Get dressed. I have somebody
I need you to meet.
Oh, sorry. Should I turn around or what?
Do you uh should I close my eyes? Maybe
if that makes you more comfortable.
>> It's fine. I don't mind.
>> Oh, yeah. No, it's it's sure.
>> I mean, don't stare me straight in the
eyes or anything cuz that would be odd.
>> Yeah. Oh, actually, yeah. I'm just going
to There.
>> It doesn't look like it, but I am
flexing every muscle in my body right
now.
>> Really?
>> Okay. Well, you didn't have to say it
like that.
>> I I want to say again, I'm sorry about
last night. I regret the way I conducted
myself. It was a mistake, a complicated
mistake.
I can uh go into the details of those
complications with you later.
>> Look, I'll take your lead. So, if it's
complicated or whatever, just, you know,
let me know when it isn't.
>> It was a nice night. Nothing more than
that.
>> Yeah, I'd like to keep things
professional,
>> right? That's why you brought me to this
conference room to strip down in front
of you. Profesh.
>> Got to play it cool.
>> Are you serious?
[Music]
>> Oh my god.
>> Who locks a conference room?
So, uh, you two [ __ ] or what?
We kissed, but it was very innocent.
>> Like cheek innocent or tip of your dick
innocent.
>> Okay, stop. First of all, we did not
kiss. You kissed me. Second of all, it's
none of your freaking business.
>> Well, what she cussed? Must have been a
good one.
>> Robert, this is Invisal. She is part of
the Phoenix program. We take former
super villains such as herself and
rehabilitate them to re-enter society to
use their powers for Are those my
earrings? Well, they look better on me.
>> Invisagal, this is Robert. He'll be your
team's dispatcher. A washed up dad bot
superhero with no superpowers. Can't
wait.
>> His identity, all of this, that's
staying between us.
>> He's still Mecca Man, but that can't get
out.
>> And if it does, I'll know who it came
from. You think I want to tell people
our dispatcher is a [ __ ] loser?
Look, you might think these are less
than ideal circumstances, but it's
something you need to get used to. When
you're out in the field, even the best
laid plans can fail. So, out there or in
here, we do what we can. We make the
best of it.
>> Well, I'm wet. Any way you like it. Look
at that trip. What does that look? Best
Buy Fight Club.
[ __ ] hot.
>> Oh my god. What the [ __ ]
>> We have a weekly ranking list for all
the heroes in the company
>> and she's at the bottom.
>> She called herself Invisibich when she
was a villain. We're trying to rebrand
her.
>> Yeah, I thought Invisigal felt kind of
corny for her.
>> Oh yeah, the name was my idea. Just get
your shirt on, Dadbot.
[Music]
This is SDN. How can we help you?
>> We're not the highest profile branch in
the network, but we've got what makes
the real difference. Great people. Some
of them aren't even people, and they're
still great.
One of the three copers on this floor.
Facts, scan, does literally everything.
Documentation. One of the three Ds at
SDN. There tends to be a healthy amount
of paperwork. I used to call it triple
D's, but I was informed that had a
different connotation.
>> How many heroes do you have here?
>> Networkwide, we're over 300. Here at the
Torrance branch, we've got somewhere
between 45 and 50, depending on our
roster at any given time, working
different shifts. Yep, we're all about
diversity. Lana works in the mail room
from a different galaxy altogether. And
then there's Gayen way back there, born
with a superhering. He's from I want to
say
>> Florida.
>> Florida.
>> Florida.
>> Of course. Florida man over there. Hey,
easy on the bath salts.
>> That was one guy.
>> Hey, speaking of bath, where is the uh
>> Oh, need a bio break.
>> Excuse me.
>> Restroom. I mean, it it's right over
there. Sorry. At work, I tend to get a
little
>> corny.
>> Corporate dick. Meet me in the records
room when you're done. If you get lost,
look for the door that says records
room.
I remember seeing this in the trailer,
bro. Almost went in my pants.
Hey, you this robber people talking
about? What's up, brother? My auntie
name Roy, but people call me Roy.
All right. Good to meet you, bro.
>> Likewise,
>> that's so [ __ ] uncomfortable, dude.
So, Roid, like like steroid,
>> huh? Hell no, brother. No, no, no, no.
Cuz listen, listen. Get other guys here
that go by the name Roy. So, I think
it's like, you know, we go scrap, we go
ground, I boss you up, and then you
know, you got roid. You know what I'm
saying, bro? That's That's what I That's
what I think.
He's still going to be peeing,
>> bro.
>> Hey, you think that's why they call me
Roy? Like I'm on steroids,
but they think I'm some kind of a juice
head. They think I'm not natty, bro.
They think Royy's not natty.
>> No, I'm just kidding, man. Just making
jokes about your name and the [ __ ]
>> Whatever. I don't care.
>> That's Yeah, noia
is probably best. Nice meeting you,
Roid. Even if it was while we were both
holding our dicks.
>> You one funny bugger. Mecca man.
>> Oh no.
>> Okay, so I was worried about your
unwashed hand, but now I'm worried that
everyone here knows who I am.
>> Nah, brother, it's Kapoo. Need to know
basis and Roy. Need to know one will
come pick up your soup or fix them for
the SDN.
>> Cool. You going to wash before you do
that?
>> Nah, bro. I never touch nothing. Just
touch my pants and underwear only. Even
for shake, I just do like this.
>> Can you show me again? I don't think I
got it.
>> Yeah, everybody's going to know by the
end of the day that we are Mecca Man.
>> Holy [ __ ] Who's this freckled face
[ __ ] How are you? That's an aggressive
way to greet someone. Look at this
skinny latte prick. Your bones, kid. You
here to whip these [ __ ] into shape
or what?
>> That's the idea.
>> Why is this happening?
>> What? It's a hug, not a hand job.
Lighten up.
>> Be that as it may, I'm still confused.
>> Oh, right. Cuz I'm old as [ __ ] How
about this? This job your memory.
>> Trackar.
Holy [ __ ]
>> Yeah, you [ __ ] Why you accepting hugs
from old men you don't know? Oh, and
hey, they call me Chase around here, so
keep it, you know.
>> Sure. Right. Yeah, Chase.
>> It's been what, 10, 15 years?
>> Has it really been that long?
>> Yeah. I reached out to this little piss
ant when his dad passed. Then he got to
ducking me like he owed me money.
>> I was in a weird place.
>> I understand, kid. It was tough on all
of us. So, I can't imagine what you went
through.
>> Yeah. So, what's up? You didn't tell me
why you look like Black Einstein?
Sorry, I never noticed.
>> [ __ ] It's the powers. I can move 50
times faster than the average person,
but I didn't realize until it was too
late. And I was aging 50 times faster
when I used my powers.
>> Oh, wow. That sucks.
>> Nowadays, I'm moving slower than frozen
piss to keep the old ticket from popping
on me.
>> Then, how old are you really?
>> I turned 39 a few months ago, but went
to Dave and Buster. [ __ ] was lit. So, I
guess this means you're the one person I
can't complain to about losing my suit.
>> You better not. I would resurrect then
rekill your [ __ ] father in front of
you if it meant being able to use my
powers again.
>> Jesus, Chase.
>> Wow.
>> What? Obviously, I'd let Robert have one
last I love you before I before I I I
extinguish the light from his eyes.
>> Was he always like this?
>> Yes, actually.
>> We joke, we laugh, we suppress our
trauma. All right, enough of this
feeling [ __ ] Let's introduce you to
your team of losers.
>> Now, if I'm being honest, I thought and
still think we should have canned these
tunas months ago.
>> And you might get your wish cuz if we
don't see improvement soon, the whole
program will be scrapped.
>> Cool. No pressure. All right. So, reveal
your hero.
>> Sonar here was a Harvard graduate who
>> who will not shut the [ __ ] up about
being a Harvard graduate like all
Harvard graduates. who also orchestrated
some of the most effective Silicon
Valley investment frauds in US history.

>> right? You met him, didn't you run in
with him years back?
>> I did.
>> Yeah.
>> So, you know he's a certifiable

>> Fire and fighter. Good.
>> Invisag.
>> Invisig.
>> Who you met? turned herself in a few
months ago and entered the program on
the condition we didn't ask questions.
>> That's a little suspicious now.
>> Suspicious? Really? Of a criminal that
turns invisible and doesn't like to
answer questions? What tipped you off,
Sherlock?
>> That's hilarious. Can become invisible
at will but while only holding her
breath. But she's asmatic.
>> Here we have Coupe, which I recently
learned is a French ballet term that
means two cup, hence the knives.
>> That's very clever.
>> Yeah, but it sounds dumb to say, so
everybody calls her Coupe. She was an
assassin for the mob, then went
independent.
Punchup,
>> carnival strong man who made a deal with
a sorceress. She gave him the strength
of 10 men. His muscles grew, but his
body shrunk.
>> He's got all the charming brains of a
greasy bowling ball.
>> Smallest strong man. Possesses the
strength of 10 men and half the height
of one.
>> Malevola. Terrifying. She's got a magic
sword and she creates portals that allow
her to teleport. Somehow she's still
late for every [ __ ] meeting.
>> Yeah, I I'm pretty sure she does that on
purpose.
>> That's Golem. He is a construct.
>> A construct?
>> Yeah. Bunch of dirt and mud made
sentient with magic. I think he's
lonely.
>> Prism. Michigan born and raised. The
power is weird. She weaponizes light
rays or some [ __ ] A lot of this stuff
is a guess.
>> Why does she dress like a pop star?
She's actually super talented.
>> Intellect, charisma, mobility, bigger.
Got it.
>> Wait, so um the Z team, my team, their
Phoenix program?
>> That is correct.
>> Your own mly crew of dangerous fuckups.
>> We're not looking for miracles.
But we'd love one if we could get it.
Can you show him his desk?
>> Sure.
What's that arm squeeze about?
>> You want one? Here. M [ __ ] off.
>> This is you. Pretty sparse, but feel
free to decorate.
This computer's older than you look.
>> Wait, so we're doing this? I haven't
even met the team yet.
>> We did the slideshow. First of all, that
wasn't a slideshow.
>> Look, we like to start slow. Most people
don't make it past the first dispatch,
and this is better for everybody's
safety.
>> What do you mean safety? You'll be fine.
And this here is our little slice of the
Southland. Whenever there's a crisis in
the area, we get a call. And guess who
answers?
>> Me. Exactly. Now, put your headset on
and introduce yourself to these pricks.
Hey team, this is your dispatcher,
Robertson. I'm starting my first shift.
[Laughter]
>> Tell me that's not your reality.
>> You can't be this on your first day.
Come on.
>> Roberts. Robert,
>> can we clear the channel, please?
There's a lot of overlapping on this.
>> I saw him in his underwear.
>> Who?
>> Roberto. Roberto son.
>> I saw him in his underwear. Hey, back in
M.
>> But he's got a lot of bruises, which I'm
into
>> again. Please clear the channel.
>> Get at your emo.
>> Shut the [ __ ] up.
Let me remind you, these calls are
[ __ ] recorded for training [ __ ]
purposes. So, keep the [ __ ] line
clear before we send your stupid [ __ ]
asses back to whatever [ __ ] cell we
pulled your stupid [ __ ] asses out of.
All right.
>> You got to remember these are all
criminals. My son's balloon is stuck in
a tree. Can you send someone?
>> Uh, okay.
Um, climb a 40ft tall tree to retrieve a
red balloon.
Okay. Mobility. I need somebody that
needs a Yeah, it's got to have mobility.
Good mobility.
Uh,
yeah, maybe coupe.
>> If you say so. Fetching a child.
>> Coupe coupation of my talents. Okay,
then tell me what it is.
>> Off the books assassinations. Oh,
>> I will take that under consideration.
>> Okay, so what do we got here? Requesting
a here for very important event. Very
high-profile ribbon cutting at Van Go.
Send someone that will that would make
SND look good. Oh boy. Maybe this guy.
Intellect. Yeah.
>> All right.
>> Uh, I'll take Wednesday.
>> This is the only thing of the game
>> tips on Monday.
>> What are you guys talking about?
>> We're taking bets on when you'll quit.
>> That I was thinking I wasn't going to
like, but it's not half bad at all.
>> I know.
>> Okay. How'd we do with coupé?
>> Okay.
70.
Well, at least it can't get any worse,
right?
Okay. [ __ ] Well, I thought the [ __ ]
wings would do something.
Very high profile ribbon cutting.
Perfect. Well, we have totally redeemed
ourselves with that.
>> Okay. What's uh going on with sonar?
>> Oh, that. Yeah. Um he kind of randomly
turns into a monster sometimes.
>> Randomly.
>> We are working on controlling it.
>> Okay. So, Sonar transforms after
returning from a call. His intellect
swaps with combat and the charisma swaps
with vigor onto the next call.
Oh, sorry.
Okay.
Uh, yikes.
Should have [ __ ] told me that sooner.
Oh my god. My bed is spray [ __ ]
everywhere.
>> Malfunctioning
bedet. Oh, it's the bedet. It's spraying
[ __ ] Um,
sure. I guess we got to hack the
[ __ ] spitting bedet.
Yeah, as I was saying, I thought this
was going to be the thing of the game
that I was I was going to like the
least. And I mean, it is, but it's
honestly still really interactive. Very
fun.
>> Do this.
I I don't know. I think it's because of
the dialogue constantly.
It It's just really fun.
There we go.
>> I think so far this might be one of the
best games I've played this year. And
I'm not even exaggerating. That That's
how [ __ ] fun this is.
Got him.
Fixed your shitty bedet.
It's offline.
>> Come on. I was about to click that.
>> Okay, hold on.
>> Robbery in progress at the yach club.
Okay, so we need somebody the thieves
and the boat in one piece. So we need
somebody with good mobility maybe.
Oh [ __ ]
Need to get some steps in anyway. Trust
me, I can handle this a lot faster on my
own.
>> All right. All right. When sent alone, a
vis reduces travel time and call
completion time. Oh, so they have little
little attributes.
I don't know if she's going to do well
with that.
>> It's out of my bar before they destroy
it. And don't send the flaming [ __ ]
>> Do you know who we saw in the bar last
night? Mecca man.
>> And he kicked Flame's ass.
>> Okay. Okay. That little [ __ ] did not
kick my ass.
>> Uh, you did though.
>> Yeah, I think I heard about that. No,
you didn't because it didn't happen.
Bab,
>> so we're all going to shut up about it.
Yeah. Okay.
>> Okay. Let me see.
I think this might be okay. Send two
people, right?
>> So, what was your read on this Mecca Man
guy?
>> Washed up, drinking alone. A robot guy
without his robot, I guess.
>> [ __ ] dude. I pressed dispatch by
mistake.
>> Hear that, Flomay? You got your ass
kicked by just a guy. All of you shut
the [ __ ] up.
>> I meant to send two and I pressed right
trigger. So anyways, these idiots are
fighting over the name Fightman. Let's
try and give them new names. Maybe
that'll solve it. Uh
okay, so become a dynamic duo.
Maybe
uh action taken suggests that did not
work. [ __ ] me. Okay, clearly they hated
all of those names. What else can we do?
H fight the fight men. Host a drinking
contest. This is so bad.
That usually works.
Maybe that works. I don't I don't know.
>> I think I'm going to use me head.
>> Uh when a hero gets injured, their stats
are decreased by one. If an injured hero
gets hurt again, they'll become downed.
Yeah, that was my bad, bro. I dispatched
them by mistake alone. Hard head punch
punchup doesn't receive any debuffs from
injuries. He cannot be downed. Oh, okay.
I mean, I I guess.
>> Plumb. You're off route.
>> She did well, right? Please tell me she
did good. 83%. That's not too bad at
all.
>> Pretty good for her first day.
>> Okay. [ __ ] some things up, but uh
not too shabby. I that that last one the
first one I [ __ ] up. I was an idiot.
But that last one, that was a mistake.
>> Fire at a local park has gotten out of
control.
>> Did you start that fire?
>> No.
>> The fire that's burning two blocks from
where you're standing. You didn't start
that.
>> Yeah, I mean I don't know what you're
talking about. I'm at break, so how
could I know?
>> Uh Flambe, stop [ __ ] around. I've got
enough problems without you making new
ones.
>> Whatever, man. H
thing is send someone durable to prevent
further damage quick before I mean
maybe
hold up.
He's still returning.
Yeah, he's still returning.
>> Hey, someone's robbing the museum. I
don't know what you do, man. I just
started today.
Okay, so security system has take uh has
been taken over by the robbers. Avoid
motion sensors and apprehend the
thieves.
I'm probably going to send her then
and I'll send uh
security here is amateur.
>> That should work.
>> D the Bozone
Diaz here. Today's topic is all about
SND. SDN, excuse me. Hiring criminals to
protect us.
All right. So, in the zone, we've got
another one. Educate the bone zone and
SDN's Phoenix program.
Prove him wrong about the Z team. So, we
need somebody with intellect here.
going to choose her.
I wanted to use a sonar, but
>> Danny the bone zone Diaz here. Today's
topic is all about SDN, hiring criminals
to protect us.
>> We need somebody to
prove him wrong. Thing is, I would have
sent sonar, but again, he doesn't have
His
his attributes kind of swapped over.
I'm going to send her. This might be
bad. Coupe.
>> He leaked my mugsh shot.
>> [ __ ]
All right. So, how should we get around
the sensors? Hack into the system. Weave
through the sensors.
Let me hack into them. [ __ ] it.
Let's do this really quickly here.
Oh, so this is timed. Okay.
Oh, nice.
Oh, this is so cool.
This is really cool.
All
right, there we go.
[Music]
Piece of cake. All sensors are back up,
team.
Sweet deal.
Uh, what do we got here?
Send someone durable to prevent fur. I
mean, I want to I want to send Flam Bay,
but [ __ ]
He's I'm going to try him. See what
>> Somebody's about to get burnt,
>> and it's not the me.
>> I don't trust his ass for anything.
We'll see how he does.
>> Encountered these thieves before.
>> Compile the compile and cross reference
past cases of this art crime ring. Take
down the members to find their hideout.
Okay. So, compile and cross reference.
We need somebody with decent intellect.
[ __ ]
Hold on.
Do I want to send
Damn.
Whatever you say.
>> Okay. Going.
This is not going to work.
>> I think I'm liking this benevolent devil
vibe.
>> Okay, the fire is out of control. How
should we stop the spread? Use the hose
to extinguish the fire.
Uh, use your body to smother the flames.
That's got to work, bro. Come on.
Hey, it's me again, Galen. Blazer told
me to show you the ropes, so here we
are. Hey, a hero ranked up. Good job. Go
check that hero database. Now, navigate
to the new upgrade tab.
>> Oh god. Okay, hold on. So, Invisigal.
>> Every rankup earns skill points. Use
them for increasing stats.
>> Okay. So, do we want to increase?
>> Use the uh plus icon next to a stat to
spend a skill point. Once you confirm,
you can't go back.
>> Okay. Um, the one combat
I think mobility might be good.
>> You don't have to make choices right
away, but don't forget to check that
hero database.
>> Yeah, we'll confirm that.
So, how do I know who's got an upgrade
available and who doesn't? Oh, okay. I
see.
It's based on the star.
Jesus.
Okay, let's see. In the zone. How do we
do there? Really [ __ ] shitty.
39%.
Oh, we still
>> Sometimes a win's a win.
>> Okay, we still got it.
All right, let's check this one.
Apprehend the art thieves
60%. Come on. Come on,
we got it.
>> Solid.
>> Okay, now she's got an upgrade.
Maleva. That's a cool name.
Oh, she doesn't have an upgrade. I
thought she did.
Hey, Bobby. Here. William Vanderink
needs a security detail. Is it cool if I
go? I've been wanting to pitch him some
stuff I've been working on. Yeah, pretty
sure that's exactly what he's trying to
avoid.
>> Uh, for some situations, you can only
choose one solution.
Okay,
so send sonar as security. Send
literally anyone else.
>> I'm a high ranking Vander stanker. It
would mean a lot.
>> Try navigating between two calls. Okay,
let sonar meet his hero.
Okay, William Vanderank and pitch him
ideas.
We're going to need you to protect Mr.
Vanderstank from the Vanderstanker fan
club.
>> Okay. So, it's not literally anybody
else. No.
Yeah, I'll do that.
Sure. Go ahead.
>> Thanks, man. You will not regret this.
>> Well, I didn't think I would until you
said that.
>> A kid just robbed me. That little [ __ ]
I want him behind bars.
>> What? All right. So, the nerves are
hitting Sonar and he's secondguessing
his human meat. Alternative pitch. How
should he approach it?
Uh,
tell a story.
>> Make it relatable, you know. Tell a
story.
>> Yeah. Let's see how that goes.
Oh, it worked. Nice. Not too bad, sonar.
All right, so what we're going to do,
we're going to go back here.
>> Half man, half bat. Oh, freak. The
flames are spreading to the houses. We
need to evacuate.
>> Oh [ __ ] dude. Bigger blaze in the BBS.
Okay. Evacuate the homes. Rescue anyone
trapped.
We need [ __ ] hell.
We need her.
And we're going to need uh
>> swift as the knife, sharp as my knife.
>> Ooh. On calls with a two slots, coupe
gains plus one combat if placed in the
first slot and plus one mobility.
Uh, okay, cool. That's pretty good.
I'm going to grab her.
Give her mobility. We just need to
evacuate.
Maybe send her.
I think these two will do a good job.
>> Yes, sir.
>> I was also thinking about
Tata.
See, thinking about invisal cuz that
might be good.
[ __ ] it. I'll go with her.
>> Oh, they're going to piss their pants
when they see me coming.
>> All right. All right. I'll snitch. Just
come here. Deal. Okay.
>> Hide art is well guarded. Stealth and
use of surroundings will be stealth.
Okay. We don't have uh stealth here at
all. Unfortunately,
this guy's still resting.
Yeah, I don't have anybody that does
stealth.
I mean,
for stealth, you would need maybe
Invisigal. That would have been pretty
good.
But
[Music]
charisma,
the use of surroundings.
Yeah, that's not going to work out for
me. How long was the last dispatcher
here?
>> Two days. New record.
>> How the [ __ ] did that happen?
>> I set the scar on fire. Yeah, very
flammable. Kill us all.
Okay, hold on.
So, we have here there's a family
trapped inside their home. We need to
rescue them. Convince them to take a
leap of faith. Lead a path to circumvent
the smoke.
[ __ ] dude. I feel like that's not going
to work. They're going to die. They're
going to [ __ ] die.
>> Woo! That actually worked.
>> I swear.
>> Good.
All right. All right. Not too bad. Let's
go. Okay. So, we have here
for coupé. We have a
Maybe we should do a little bit more of
uh
use some intellect. Maybe. What do you
guys think? Intellect, right? Intellect
is good. I like intellect.
I'm hoping that these upgrades just
carry over,
you know.
And then for her, I'm going to give her
some
Let's see.
[Music]
some chatter, some charisma.
Yeah. And then we're going to give our
buddy old pal here some bigger. Maybe
some bigger.
Yeah, a little bit of bigger.
Why not? I like that you can rank them
up. That's pretty sweet.
[Music]
Okay, we got Granny's donuts.
[Music]
>> Granny's. I got this.
>> Hold up. Aren't you banned?
>> Yeah, and I got to get unbanned.
>> The alarm arm triggered at Granny's. All
right, let's send her. She wants to go.
She wants to do it.
>> Yeah, nice try, dude. I'm not going
anywhere.
>> Let's do it.
>> Granny's.
>> [ __ ] it.
>> Let me do my [ __ ] my way. Cool. Can I
get ice down here, please? What does
that mean?
>> She's asking for a tap in. We got access
to security cams of SDN subscribers all
over our territory.
>> Wow. Really? Is that legal?
>> Don't ask questions. Just always make
sure to read the fine print.
>> Whoa.
>> I didn't do this.
>> Right. I feel like you've said that a
lot in your life. What happened?
>> This is how I found the place. The old
guy who I assume is Granny was laying
here when I walked in. Hey, what's your
favorite donut? Look,
>> can you just focus? What? You got ADHD
or something?
>> Yes, [ __ ] Is it that obvious?
>> Yes, [ __ ] It is.
>> Well, then answer the question. I don't
want to sit here and fixate on it when
we're supposed to be doing whatever
superhero [ __ ]
>> A jelly donut. Okay. I mean, I will eat
anything if you pack enough jelly in it.
>> So, you're into squirters. You like that
gush in your throat. Cool. Okay, say
less.
>> Yep, you got me. I love gobbling on hot,
sloppy donuts. Love them from my mouth
to my butt. What the [ __ ] How's it
going? First date. Thanks for asking me
that so you could get all your funny
funny jokes out. Now, can we maybe
address the body in the room?
What are you doing? You going to poke it
with a stick?
>> Check his pulse.
>> Granny's alive. Thank Christ. I don't
want to have to lift this guy. So, can I
go now? No,
>> this isn't a wellness check. It's a B&E.
Let's figure out if the perp is still
there.
>> Perp.
>> Okay, Lieutenant.
>> [ __ ] I can't think of a character from
a cop show.
>> Cool. Well, why don't you stay put and
work on that while I get another camera
up on mine?
>> She's my least favorite. The worst of
the lot.
>> That surprises me. You guys got similar
energy. How do I switch cameras?
>> Just click the side here and you can
cycle all the cameras in the building.
It's weird getting tech advice from an
old person or I'm not even 40 yet.
>> Weird hearing bro from an old person.
>> Dan Lieutenant Dan, is that is that a
thing?
>> Yes, I am the legless Vietnam vet from
Forest Gump. Sick burn.
Am I doing something wrong? Pushing that
button just says access denied.
>> Ah, damn it. Sometimes people add extra
security. They don't understand. It just
makes it harder for us to do our job.
>> Hey, what's taking so long? Are you
sleeping or something? Are you just bad
at your job?
>> We got to hag into it.
Okay,
it's not it's not timed. Hold on. I got
to go eat real quick. All right, we're
back
and we're going to go ahead and do this.
Let's go ahead and hack this,
then hack this. I wonder if these will
get more complicated as we go, you know?
cuz they are uh
as I fail. They are pretty simple.
>> Donut shop even need extra security.
>> Okay, so we'll go this way now.
>> Hello.
>> Okay, that unlocked this one, which is
the key.
>> This node represents a code to use
later. Remember it.
>> Up, down, left, left. Uh, okay.
[ __ ] This node has an unknown code.
Find the key.
>> Got it. So, they are changing slightly,
which is good.
[Music]
>> All right. What do we got here?
>> Per De, who are you? Lieutenant Dan.
>> Hey, shut up for a sec. You're not
alone.
>> He's coming your way. Armed. You need to
disappear.
>> Why are you whispering, you idiot?
You're in my ear.
>> Oh no.
>> Oh no.
>> God damn it. This [ __ ] is a gusher.
>> [ __ ] is a gusher.
>> Careful.
>> I got this. Lieutenant Dan. Never mind.
Got any more great advice?
>> Remember, she's asthmatic.
>> [ __ ]
>> Bro, these scenes look amazing, bro.
Got you now. This old [ __ ]
>> Invisig, just hold him off while I find
a way to help.
>> Okay, we're going to probably have to do
this quickly, huh?
>> I can use the overhead sprinklers to
short out his blaster.
>> Okay, so this is timed. Yes.
>> Come on. Come on. Come on.
>> We got to get this.
>> Got him.
>> [ __ ]
Um,
up down. Okay, got it. Up, down, up,
down.
Is it for this one?
No.
Um,
left up.
Uh,
left up.
So, it's got to be
up, down, left, up, up, down, left, up.
Got it. Okay, that was really [ __ ]
crazy, man. You got to get two keys and
combine them.
Sprink sprinkler system.
[Music]
Oh no, not the inhaler.
Granny, I don't think you know how to
use that thing. So, why don't you
>> shut the [ __ ] up?
>> I'm one of the good guys.
>> You? Yeah, right. Don't [ __ ] with me.
Okay. Nobody [ __ ]
>> Nobody [ __ ] with Granny.
>> Invisal, stay calm.
>> Great [ __ ] advice, Lieutenant Dan.
>> Stop calling, Lieutenant Dan, cuz the
joke doesn't work.
>> Take out the thief. [ __ ] it.
>> Granny doesn't even know how to shoot
that thing. Take out the thief first.
He's the only one with his finger on a
track.
>> Yeah, you know what? It's my life on the
line.
>> I'm done listening to you. That thing's
going to blow that man's arm off of this
whole building.
>> Oh my god.
>> I'm disarming the fight.
>> No. Invisal, that's a direct order.
The [ __ ]
>> That's not good. That's not good. That's
not good.
>> Oh [ __ ] I didn't even [ __ ] [ __ ]
Invisiga, you there? Come in, Invisig.
This guy's heavy.
>> No, she did exactly what I told her not
to do.
>> Oh, really wasn't expecting to see that.
>> He's kind of caked up.
>> I think he must had something else to do
cuz he left.
>> I mean, this is why you have insurance,
right?
>> Jesus Christ. You got to be [ __ ]
kidding me.
>> This feels like a win to me.
That was pretty good for a first day.
Sometimes people, you know, get
electrical burns.
>> She disobeyed a direct order.
>> Well, that's the problem. This isn't the
army, and these ain't soldiers. They're
[ __ ] super villains.
>> Literally.
>> Look, why don't you take a breather? We
can debrief with Blazer in a bit. Here,
there's vending machines in the break
room. You look like you could use a
snack. Are you sure you're not actually
80 years old?
>> Oh, and we get to level up. Three
failures, two misses. Damn. So, if you
miss calls, you also get deranked. What
the [ __ ] Thank you for your hard work.
SDN pharmacy item. Random point.
Okay. Take a hero out for resting. out
of resting
and a random point.
Okay,
so that's for Sonar. Choose one hero to
receive the mobility perk.
Um,
I don't know if I should add it to sonar
so he's like really good with mobility
or added to one of these cuz they
absolutely suck with mobility.
Punch up.
a [ __ ]
>> What kind of superhero flinches?
>> I didn't say which superhero. Chill out.
If you had people trying to kill you for
the last 15 years, you'd be jumpy, too.
>> What makes you think my life has been
any different? You think growing up
surrounded by a bunch of ship bag
villains, I didn't need to watch my
back.
>> Yeah, well, I guess you should do a
better job picking your friends.
>> What the [ __ ]
>> You can't just go around. Why is he keep
screaming?
>> His name's Sonar.
>> Yeah, I know what Sonar means.
>> What's up?
>> Then why are you asking why he keeps
screaming? Uh, she was just explaining
your um, you know what, never mind. Good
shift.
>> This guy is weird.
>> Yeah, he is. Look, I actually just came
by to celebrate the mission going well.
Didn't mean to interrupt, you little
snack. What do you need it pre- chewed
like a little baby bird [ __ ]
>> Look, me. You disobeyed a direct order.
How can you think it went well? You
trashed the place. The suspect got away.
You got the client hurt. You think when
that guy signed up for SD and that it
result in the back of his ball sack
getting scorched? But they don't mention
that in the commercials.
>> First of all, the place was trashed when
I got there. Second, I'm sure Granny
would take some crispy nuts over losing
his arm. As far as the bad guy, [ __ ]
[ __ ] happens.
>> Fact of the matter is that [ __ ] didn't
need to happen. We could have had an
outcome where the client doesn't get
fried and we get the perp if you had
just [ __ ] listened to me. You ask for
help, then I can. But now
>> I make the calls, not you.
>> Here's some advice. You're right at home
behind that desk cuz you're no hero. You
were a nerd playing a video game in a
suit your daddy built.
>> Now you're a twitchy little [ __ ] turtle
without a shelf. A real hero puts their
ass on the line. A real hero can't just
press a button and make their problems
disappear.
The suit isn't what made me a superhero.
It was how I did my [ __ ] job that
made me. Based on what I saw today, you
wouldn't last a day as Mecham. cuz there
isn't a mech suit in the universe
that'll keep you from being a selfish
[ __ ] [ __ ]
>> Uh,
maybe I shouldn't have told her that,
but she kind of did deserve it.
>> Feel bad. Good. [ __ ] you.
>> That was bad. All right, that was not
good.
You going to eat those Twinks?
>> That's not what they're You know what?
Help yourself.
>> What happened to your nose?
>> Here we go.
>> You have a tissue hanging from your
nose, Robert. I was trying to ignore it,
but that became impossible when it
started soaking in blood.
>> I don't know. I just sort of bumped my
head, I guess.
>> Right.
When I think of someone bumping their
head, it's the back of their head. Your
nose, your bloody nose is the same place
as your eyes, which is on your face,
>> right? Yeah. I guess I bumped my face
then.
>> We're here to assess Robert's first
shift. And aside from whatever happened
here, I thought it was pretty good.
>> What told you, Robbie?
>> I was watching on the monitor. The work
you did dispatching, I don't think the Z
team has ever had a better shift than
that. We just might need to confront the
fact that it might be the best they can
do. Especially the way the granny thing
went.
>> Yeah. Now, the granny situation that
wasn't ideal, but I've seen so much
worse with Invisal.
>> Let's be real. She ain't going to make
it.
>> She's difficult to work with. Sure, but
I see a lot of promise in her. Really?
Even the other ZTeamers respect her.
>> They're afraid of her. The Burp got
away. How is that an acceptable outcome?
>> [ __ ] happens. Look, Robert, you should
be proud. The bar is very low with this
group.
>> Well, it's not low for me. Look, I like
to make a joke and keep things light as
much as the next person. But when it
comes to work, I'm not [ __ ] around
here. If you want the Phoenix program to
survive, the bar needs to go up.
>> And how would we do that?
>> By treating the Z team like what they
are, a bunch of villains. And leading a
super villain team takes a different
approach than a superhero team. I need
to be around them. I need them to see
I'm allin and they need to match that
energy. Some tough love. The only kind I
know. And based on what I've seen, the
only version they'll respond to. I'm not
saying everyone will make it. They
won't. I'm not saying it won't get
spicy. It will. But when it does, I also
need you to trust me to handle it. I
don't want you stepping in. They need to
respect me even if I don't have powers.
>> Okay. We'll do it your way. Monday,
we'll get them in a room and introduce
them to their new super villain leader.
>> I can't promise it work. I can only
promise that I'll do my best.
>> No [ __ ] way is going to work, but
it'll be way more fun to watch.
>> Chase, some optimism, please.
>> God damn it. I also promise to do my
best.
[Music]
>> Hey, kid.
>> What?
>> What are you doing?
>> Yeah. No, no, no, no, no. I I didn't did
this. It's is weird cuz yeah, I saw saw
this lady smiling lady person put a
donut on your um desk earlier previously
and it was nice nicely on a nap and then
she just she comes back and she just
crazy like a evil mode and hit and smash
the same donut.
>> What a mess.
>> I'll clean it.
>> What? No, no, no,
>> no. Yes. See, I'm SDN's newest. He he he
>> hero
>> helpful janitor. Helpful janitor.
>> Okay,
cool.
>> So, it's my pleases pleasure and my is
my job which you help me get.
>> So, thank thank you. Thank you so much.
>> Happy to help.
>> That's it's Friday. I'm not going to
ask. You headed out?
>> Oh, yeah. Uh
great. Thanks, kid.
Welcome to the team, water boy.
>> Yeah, welcome to you. You, too.
>> What the [ __ ]
>> Hey, I I want you to know us fixing your
suit is not contingent on you fixing the
Z team. I I wouldn't do that to you.
>> That's good to know.
>> But don't worry about that. I'm just
really glad you're here, Robert. I think
we're going to do some great things
together.
I'm uh I'm really glad I'm here, too.
>> Actually, there's something I've been
meaning to tell you. It's a little
awkward to mention, but since the other
night, I
>> blonde blazer.
>> Oh, no. You freaking party pooper.
>> Are you ready to go?
>> Who is this? I thought I'd cataloged all
of your work companions. Robert, this is
my boyfriend and I'm a man. This is our
new dispatcher I was telling you about.
Robert,
>> the third Robertson, leader of the
Phoenix's blonde blazer told me about
you.
>> Really? Did she um say I don't know what
came up in that talk?
>> She said you're a capable, honorable man
that truly cares for others. Why are you
so small?
>> Hey, come on. You got to stop asking
people that.
>> The way you spoke of him made him sound
impressive. I only seek to understand. I
apologize.
How was his first day? Was his lack of
size and strength an issue?
>> No, he was great. It was great. It was a
great first day.
>> That is phenomenal. We should celebrate.
Blond Blazer and I have reservations in
Tokyo at a restaurant where the owner
dreams of sushi. You should join us.
I'm sure they could accommodate one
more, especially a special occasion like
this.
Oh. Uh, that sounds great, but I spoil
my appetite eating sweets all day.
>> A shame. Another time then?
>> For sure.
>> Yeah,
that bastard.
>> He flies a little faster.
>> It was very nice to meet you, Third
Robertson.
>> Wow, a pleasure.
>> Now, could you step back? The power of
my launch has been known to stun small
beings.
>> Phenomenal.
>> [ __ ]
Damn. No way.
No way she did us like that.
Oh, this is going to that's one hell of
a way to end the second episode knowing
that we got episodes three and four in
about a week.
Damn. You and 90% of players bro fisted
roid.
You and 71% of players covered
for invis. Yeah, I figured we didn't
want to get her in trouble. You and 37%
of players prefer jelly filled donuts.
67% of players decided not to ask Blazer
out. Yeah, I felt like that was too much
and she was going to get probably a
little freaked out. You and 89% of
players said no to dinner.
Mhm. 32% of players let Sonar meet.
He did good. We We did good. Your most
sent hero was Coupe.
Your overall call success rate is in the
100th percentile.
So that's it for Dispatch episodes 1 and
two. Episodes three and four officially
released next week. I think the 28th I
think I said. I'm not sure, but pretty
soon. This was so freaking incredible.
Like I knew this game was going to be
special because of
the uh the cast, you know, the actors
and actresses behind the game. I I knew
it was just going to be good. The
trailer looked really fun. The only
thing I was worried about was like the
little, you know, office work
miscellaneous tasks where, you know, I
guess they're not so miscellaneous, but
it was one hell of an experience. And I
wasn't even going to include uh a
facecam for this cuz I wanted to I
wanted it to be more like a cinematic
sort of experience, but it had so many
cool moments that I'm I'm kind of happy
I did. Man, that was freaking awesome. I
cannot wait. A massive shout out to the
entire team, all the cast members. They
all did great. This was really, really
fun and I cannot wait to play this
again. If you guys would like to see
three and four as soon as it comes out,
consider dropping the video a like.
Thank you so much for watching and I'll
catch you later.
